We are happy to announce this year's winners of the Pigott Ag Service Scholarships Kaleb Nelson and Lily Schulenberg! 🌽🌱

Kaleb will be graduating this year from Cherokee Washington High School where he has been involved with 4-H, FFA, working at Hidden Acres, and interning with Pigott Ag Service. He will be attending Iowa State University to major in Agricultural Studies. He then hopes to return to the family farm to help raise cattle, corn, and soybeans. When asked why he is interested in agriculture as a career, Kaleb said "Agriculture is an industry that impacts every American."

Lily will be graduating from Alta-Aurelia High School this year where she has participated in 4H, FFA, and high school rodeo. She will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to major in agricultural business with minors in commodity marketing and ag policy/law. While in Lincoln, Lily will also be participating on the rodeo team. She hopes to return to Northwest Iowa and work on the business side of agriculture. Lily is pursuing agriculture as a career because it has given so much to her and she wants to be able to give back. She stated, "A small portion of the world's population actually knows what we do and I want to be able to make sure people are getting the truth and realize that we truly couldn't survive without the agriculture industry."
